Why won't my QuickBolt Auto-Lock?

The QuickBolt will ONLY lock once the knob is manually turned.

The QuickBolt was engineered in this fashion, removing the barriers and problems that other battery operated doorlocks have. One main issue with other locks is the Deadbolt mechanism. When the battery is low or the jamb is misaligned, the deadbolt will not lock. With a manual lock, the door is guaranteed to be locked.
